Hello Tweets,
I just wanted to follow up on Mary Saylor's thread about the sounds she
recorded in late June. In case there was any lingering doubt on her
conclusion that they were most likely Great Horned Owls, I think I'm able
to put the question to rest. I just had a pair of birds outside my house at
dusk giving the same calls she recorded. I was able to get pretty good
looks at two (presumably juvenile) Great Horned Owls giving the calls.
