A bird flew into my window earlier- it seemed doomed but revived, sat up and flew away in around 15 seconds. I'm flummoxed as to what it was. Quite dark with a somewhat lighter brown head, or maybe just the cap. Maybe cowbird sized, but I saw white as it flew off. Not a streaky bird. Not a junco either. It flew off confidently, not like a fledgling. Anybody have an idea?
