The past two days I have photographed a rufous  hummingbird at my neighbor's flowerbed.  I live not far from Maplewood Elementary School on a court that borders the north end of Pine Ridge Park.  This is the first time I have seen a rufous hummer in Edmonds outside of the Pt. Edwards area south of the Edmonds marsh.  Photos can be seen by scrolling down page 6.
