After reading about the Lazuli Bunting seen earlier today at Montlake, in
mid afternoon my husband and I walked down to Magnuson Park, in hopes we
might find one there and we were successful in finding a beautiful male.

The bird was in a large natural area that is south and west of the Junior
League playground and the soccer field adjacent to the playground. It was
calling, which made it easier to spot. It moved eastward and south of the
field where rugby is played in the winter.

Good hunting!
