Dear Tweeters,
A grainy photo was forwarded to me last night, showing what looks a Black-billed Magpie photographed at Washington Park in Anacortes. I don't know the photographer, or where she snapped the picture in that large park, but the photo was taken the morning of the 5th of June. It's in a leafless tree behind a conifer. That narrows it down, not!
A little bird told me that there have been five or more sightings of Black-billed Magpies in this part of the state in the past few weeks. It's a rare bird here, for sure!
