Yesterday I went to the southern portion of Scattercreek. I heard and saw
some new birds for the year. Seeing and hearing a Lazuli Bunting was very
neat. I have seen them in Thurston county only at the Ayers farmland. I
also heard an Olive-sided Flycatcher, Chipping Sparrow, Warbling Vireo and
a Western Wood Pewee for the first time this year. Very nice area to bird
and see late flowers in the prairies.
Thanks
