The last few days have seen the appearance of little family groups of
Nuthatches, Pine Siskins, Black Cap Chickadees on our bird feeder mound.
Also our squirrel family has doubled; the youngtsers play like kittens!
They also eat a prodigious amount of bird seed even though we give them
dry corn on the cob. Annas and Roufous hummers have had success as well;
it is an aerial circus when we sit on the deck! Flicker has been eating
from our chili saturated cylinder as has a male Downey recently
