Copies of this map can also be found in each of my three books about the Fill (In My Nature, Second Nature, and Fill of Joy).

The map is not quite up-to-date because it doesn't incorporate the changes made by WSDOT during their so-called mitigation efforts. Notably:

The Dime Lot is no longer a parking lot. It has been transformed into a wetlands/pond which I call the Bathtub. The Bathtub is located on the south side of the west end of Wahkiakum Lane just before you cross the wooden bridge.

Douglas Road, the road that used to lead into the Dime Lot, is no longer a road. It was covered with wood chips and planted with various bushes and trees that have been slow to grow.

The Lone Pine Tree is no longer there. It burned during a slow-moving fire some years ago. It was located at the highest point of the Fill, which is the top of the hill on the east side of the Loop Trail. - Connie, Seattle
