Subject: [Tweeters] Marymoor Indigo(?) Bunting continues

Hi tweets,

The bunting found earlier this week is still present at Marymoor Park in
Redmond, King County. I have nothing to add to the species identification,
except that high-quality photos would be most helpful in differentiating a
SY male Indigo from Lazuli x Indigo hybrid.

The bird is singing only occasionally, and is extremely difficult to find
when not singing. It is making rounds of a rough territory centered here
(47.6568747, -122.1123545), with Lazuli Buntings on territory to both the
east and northeast.

Good birding,
Matt Dufort
