At 11:30 this morning I listened to a Red-eyed Vireo singing for about 5
minutes at Iverson Point Park on Camano Island.
I never saw the bird and I couldn't coax it into view or to resume singing.
The location is along the loop trail where it borders the wooded slope
along the West end of the park. Take the dike trail from the parking lot
West to the wooded bluff. The location is several hundred yards after the
trail enters the trees where there are three large Madronas overhanging the
trail.
Good birding
