Hi Tweeters!
Another newby question.
I was at McLane Creek Nature Preserve, Olympia, about noon today, on the walkway over the beaver pond.
Saw a bird that as best I can identify it looking through all my field guides and eBird pictures was a Swainson's Thrush.
Fairly distinct whitish eyebrow stripe, brown stripes on the upper breast area only, white/cream belly, very plain rich brown wings and back.
But everything I have seen says it is too early for them yet.
If this is the case, any suggestions as to what it might have been?
