Did you know that kea can make decisions and predictions about the future
based on limited information -; just as humans do? Not only is this
sophisticated cognitive ability special, but it was previously thought to
be limited to the great apes. But as we learn in this new study, kea have
the same ability, despite their brain being significantly smaller than the
great apes, and despite their brain architecture radically differing from
that of the great apes.
