Hi Tweets!
Does anyone know where I might be able to secure free/cheap Purple Martin
Gourds and Wood Duck nesting boxes?

Plus, I have been making a birding map & bird index for Lake Sammamish
State Park.
I seem to remember someone was collecting these maps, and putting them
somewhere on the web for birders to download and use...please would that
person contact me, so I can send this map to them for upload once it's
complete. Thanks!

Also, a personal project came to fruition recently, when I succeeded in
counting 100 species within the Lake Kathleen watershed. Among my final
birds, an immature Snow Goose arrived with a small flock of Canada Gooses,
and was seen as recently as last week, a Hermit Thrush finally showed their
face this winter, and then most recently a lone Ruddy Duck (100) appeared
on the lake for just one day! Next goal: 125.

Early this week I had FOY VG Swallows, and FOY Hutton's Vireo's seen and
heard calling!

Good Birding,

Nadine
Lake Kathleen, Renton/Issaquah.
