A week ago I returned from a 10 day birding trip that covered the well
known birding sites in the NE corner of Colombia including both El Dorado
and Perija lodges and a number of Caribbean coastal areas. As a group, the
6 of us saw over 300 species and a high percentage of the endemic and near
endemic species in those locations. I personally saw 280 species and added
93 lifers to my list. We were very ably guided by Oswaldo Cortes of Bogota
Birding. He knows these locations well and was instrumental in us getting
so many of our targets.

If you are interested in more details about this trip that I organized,
contact me directly at 41cdcook at gmail.com.
