> Today while continuing to social distance & bird we took the following very short video of an American Dipper entering its nest above the Tolt River with what looks like a leaf.

> While at home we have engaged in Bird Charades to pass time during our self-imposed isolation that started on 2/29/20. One of us physically mimics a bird and the other attempts to ID the bird. No sounds are allowed. We were successful with Cormorant, Hummingbird, Fox Sparrow, Red-breasted Sapsucker, American Dipper, American Crow & Northern Shoveler. However, when I imitated the flight of a swallow, Karen said that I was a Turkey Vulture! When I told her that I was a swallow, she said that she had never seen a 6' 2" 230 pound swallow. Ok, I can see that, but think that she should have guessed my near perfect imitation of an American Bittern in its classic pose.
