Late Saturday afternoon a newly arrived female Rufous Hummingbird was holding her own at the feeders against the group of perennial Anna's that are at my place. Fortunately the manzanita shrubs are starting to come into bloom so there's plenty for everyone to eat. I still have to refill two feeders daily.
