Hi Tweets and Diann,

Thanks for the TuVu reports. I have one for you for May:

1 turkey vulture rising on a thermal over the Edmonds Bowl on May 1, around
12:30 PM.

Good birding, everyone.

Subject: [Tweeters] April 2020 turkey vulture report

Hi, Tweets

Staying home evidently makes things get done in a timely manner . . . maybe.
Anyway, here is the turkey vulture report for April 2020 and a few others
from Washington and Oregon. Thanks to all who sent reports or who included
our native vultures in their reports.

A late Februrary report

22 -- 2 TVs were seen over Point-no-Point.

Late March reports

20 -- 1 FOY turkey vulture in Roy.

21 -- 1 near Rockport.

23 -- 1 in Lyman.

27 -- 1 near Lyman

April reports

01 -- 1 near Lyman, 1 in Concrete, 3 in Marblemount, and 1 near Rockport.

02 -- 1 near Rockport and 1 in Hamilton.

07 -- 1 in Rockport.

10 -- 3 at Corkindale near Rockport and 3 at Marblemount Boat Launch (It was
reported that folks up there think that the vulture are attracted to
afterbirths at the ranches in the area).

14 -- 2 in Edmonds flying over the petanque courts.

25 -- 1 northbound over Twin Lakes/Federal Way at 6:00 pm today; 2 turkey
vultures were circling over the North Beach High School in Ocean Shores:
they were headed west but returned within 10 minutes heading back southeast.

27 -- 1 turkey vulture headed east over NE Seattle.

That seems to be it, but thanks again for the reports. I haven't seen any
turkey vultures since I haven't been birding except in my yard and on my
streets. Still pretty interesting.

Cheers, Diann
