Came across a large flock of Western Tanagers Saturday morning on the south side of the Ravenna Gorge, along the old trolley path between 20th and 15th Ave. I counted at least 30, and that was just a fraction. As with the last few days, an inordinate number of Yellow-rumps and Wilson's Warblers, along with singing Townsends, Orange-crowned, and Hutton's Vireo.
