At 8:30 last night while walking the dog, a White Crowned Sparrow was singing away in a small tree next to condo where it has been hanging out the past week.  Across a driveway and the street in some trees another wss responding/also singing.  I have probably just not noticed, but this is first time I recall hearing this species singing so late in the evening.  Not dark but past twilight.
