Hello Tweeters,
I have gone to Federal Way for birding several mornings this past week. Twice at the West Hylebos Wetlands where I had FOY Black Throated Gray Warbler and Black Headed Grosbeak along with my second year sighting of three Western Tanagers foraging together. One full breeding male, one still in non-breeding and one bright adult female. I believe I may have had a flyover Swainson's Hawk as well but I just saw it on its last circle upwards before it took off really fast northward so I only got a brief look at it. 
I went to Dumas Bay yesterday morning and it was very birdy. I had FOY Pacific Slope flycatchers, alt least 6 of them, and a single distant Olive Sided Flycatcher calling for more beer. There were a couple Bonaparte's and Caspian Terns hanging out on the beach. I also saw two osprey, one of which had a fish and was being severely harassed by a bald eagle but managed to get away and fly right over my head up into the trees to eat.
