Hi, Tweets,

Inspired by continuing reports of migrating raptors in western Oregon and Washington, I took a seat in the shade and watched my sliver of sky on Capitol Hill from 2 till a bit after 4 p. m. today. Right away, I had Osprey, then a high Northern Harrier, then a Red-tailed. Much later, I had a second Red-tailed, and after 4, a Bald Eagle. The harrier is new for the yard. Also: Violet-green Swallows, three mylar balloons, and numerous white petals from some blooming trees (crab apple or similar) -- not many airplanes.
