It has been pointed out to me that Sandhill Cranes are not perching birds. I admit I'm not very familiar with SACR and may have misidentified the birds I saw. Still Sandhill Cranes have a very distinctive look. I know for sure the bird I saw perched on the FEMA tower was not a Great Blue Heron. My ebird report has a very poor photo taken with my phone https://ebird.org/checklist/S69050028 Can anyone help with ID?
