Dear Tweeters,
This morning (15th May) at 0600, the immature Northern Shrike that had been visiting my yard off and on all spring made yet another of its infrequent, irregular appearances. As usual, it perched on the fence of my vegetable garden, flying down from there to catch insects in the garden. I took photos and will put them on the eBird checklist when I get around to it.
I think this is one of the latest Washington records for this species, at least as far as I can see on eBird.
