The chat is at the boundary between the Snohomish and WDFW-owned parts of the island, on the west side. There is a WDFW sign by the path when you reach the boundary, and the chat moves around in the area west of the path (between the path and Union Slough) about twenty feet north of the sign.

Can someone point out on a map the spot where the Yellow-breasted Chat has been seen? I'd like to get up there tomorrow morning in hopes that it is still there.
