Hi Tweets,

Been backyard birding mostly and the biggest treat has been the Bewick's wrens that nested in the old kitchen vent. Watching the adults fly back and forth with bugs as the nestling grew was too fun. And the begging calls "feed me" were non-stop - little chirps. The parent wrens got used to my gardening and would fly or run right next to me as they foraged. Best part - they took out a lot of caterpillars in the garden.

Today the nestling fledged.

Off the family went to different environs, maybe they'll be back...

Happy Birding!
