We live on the edge of the Fairmont ravine in West Seattle and look into the
mid-level and up a little up into the tops of several tall conifers. I've
been noticing Wilson's Warbler several times and this evening also Warbling
Vireo foraging high in these trees. I usually associate both species mostly
with small to large shrubs and the lower level of trees. I guess they'll go
up high when they can fly laterally from a steep slope into a tall tree.
Good birding,
Ed
