We had another calling Dusky Flycatcher this morning along the edge of the yard, lingering until past the noon hour. Although ostensibly this could be the same one we had in early May, there was some evidence of other migrant songbirds today as well, with the high-pressure system seemingly getting things moving again, so it seems more likely to have been our second of the spring. Given how loud the "whit" was when I first heard it, I had thoughts of a Gray but bringing the bird into view brought that idea to rest. A Pacific-slope Flycatcher briefly appeared (and vocalized) just a few feet away from the Dusky before the latter chased it off. Then, our FOY/FOS Willow Flycatchers were in evidence under the nearby powerline crossing today as well. Full Ebird list: https://ebird.org/checklist/S69740181.
