Subject: [Tweeters] CNN: When a woman said she saw a wolverine on a Washington state beach, a wildlife official didn't believe her

Back in the early 80s a Wolverine was trapped (twice) in Capitol Forest. Turns out it was an escapee. Like Russell, this one is sure way out of range. Again like Russell, as a bio with (even more years) experience I was told by a Mt Rainier Ranger that what I called a Fisher was actually a Marmot. Unfortunately, it was across the road so fast that we got no pictures. It was a nice male Fisher, as we photographed marmots a few minutes later.

A wolverine on a beach in Pacific County is so far out of the norm I still question how it got there. I'm glad they got a picture of it. Truly remarkable. Also green with envy.
