Yesterday I saw and (definitely heard) what sounded like a raven being mobbed by crows just west of the Arboretum in the Montlake neighborhood. I heard a pair of ravens in the Arboretum a few months ago, so wonder if it is one of them or its offspring. It sounded particularly beleaguered and pathetic, which makes me wonder if it had recently fledged.

The crows mobbed it in this tree for a good 10 minutes, then the raven and mob moved on to another conifer about 3-4 blocks north.

Would love to know what those with more corvid vocalization knowledge have to say.
