Claire,

That sure sounds like a Raven youngster in your video. Ravens nested successfully in the Arboretum this year. Two youngsters have been roaming around being provisioned by two adults. Your report suggests that at least one of them is venturing a bit farther and is finding out what it means to be a Raven in Seattle. You get lots of attention from crows when you perch and almost everywhere you fly you get a crow escort.

I had the good fortune to have some "quality time" with the Ravens this year. I posted two short videos on YouTube.
The first is of an adult feeding a youngster: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-V2VNnP31VI <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-V2VNnP31VI>
The second is of the two siblings interacting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_rRAVMEWWY <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_rRAVMEWWY>
