Hi Tweeters,
Yesterday we watched an American Dipper gleaning for insects on lily pads at Lake Joy in rural east King county. It occasionally flew and landed on a dock, but spent the majority of 30-40 minutes scuttling about atop the lilies. I had never seen a Dipper outside of its typical stream/river habitat. Is this common?
