Migration Matters: Hawkwatching and Long-term Monitoring Online CourseNov 12, 6-7:15 PM, $20
HawkWatch International's Dave Oleyar and Jesse Watson will lead us through hawk identification so that after this class you can go out and look to the skies with confidence. To contextualize your new skills, they will give interactive education on where migrating raptors concentrate and why. They'll explain the role of HawkWatch International in the west and across the globe with a quick tour of their monitoring network (including local Chelan Ridge). They will illustrate the fascinating meaning of the data collected by HawkWatch crews over 30 years.
If you can't make this specific date or time, you can still register and we will send you a YouTube link to the workshop to view on your own time! All registrants will have access to the class recording for a limited time approximately one week after the workshop.
