If you're needing a distraction or nature fix, I've finished a birding
video from 2 trips to California last year. The first included some land
birding prior to a repo cruise from LA to Vancouver where I missed a
Hawaiian Petrel in Washington waters by about five minutes. This
misfortune seems quite small in the scope of things since....

The second trip was to go on our only Shearwater Journey, coupled with more
land birding for lifers and a trip to the Farallon Islands. I am
appreciative of the number of times the word "trips" appears in this post
and look forward to using that word much more in the months to come.
