Way to go Joe Meche. Exactly 10 years ago to the week Joe found a Tropical Kingbird in Bellingham that stuck around downtown for some time.
A few days ago, he spotted another in Ferndale that has now been hanging around 3 days. It was actively feeding on yellow-jacket-type bugs and I saw it once down a large dragonfly.

Looking at Birds of the World range map this guy should be in Mexico or south to Argentina.

After saying all this if anyone is familiar with the kingbirds and thinks this is another type let me know.
