A Canadian raptor colleague reported yet another Snowy Owl yesterday.

The trickle continues.....one just never knows.

Many years ago, I had a group of 12 Snowys show up all at once in a single
field on the Samish Flats. I was studying peregrines at the time and had
checked this field on Sunset Road the day before.

It appeared that they all flew in together overnight. This was in January.

Strange, I know, but true.
