Hello Tweets,

(Sorry, I tried sending this yesterday but it bounced because I accidentally replied to the whole thread)

Thanks again to Raphael Fennimore for finding the American Tree Sparrow at the Green River Natural Resource Area aka the Kent Ponds hotspot on eBird. The bird is located in between Russell Road and where the Anderson Park pin shows on Google Maps. There are large mixed flocks around that area so lots of sparrows to look at including at least one white throated sparrow. The bird has moved around just a little bit so may take some work if someone isn't there already to point it out.

If you want to go for it, park at the head of Frager Road North right off of 212th and then walk across the bridge to Russell Road and then south down Russell Road past all the signs that tell you the road is closed. The second dirt path down on the left side between two big grassy areas with geese is the path you want. You only have to go 100-200 feet or so and the road splits a couple ways. When I saw it it was on the first split to the left between that path and the big berm path. Hope this helps.
