Hi, Tweets,

E-bird will be down most of Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
https://ebird.org/news/database-update-november-17-19-maintenance
More birders than usual are staying closer to home and running up big county year lists. At least ten people are likely to finish the year with over 220 species in King County, for example.

Here's the special request: if you should happen to find any unusual birds during those two days (or later), please post to Tweeters reasonably quickly. Likewise if you find reports in media not frequented by birders.
(Especially King County
Northern Saw-whet Owl,
American White Pelican,
Long-eared Owl,
Lapland Longspur,
Short-tailed Shearwater,
Northern Fulmar
[hi, John])

Many will be grateful.

Safe birding,

Alan Grenon
