M Scuderi asked about siskins ground feeding...

Observing diverse species in my yard, I've noticed spotted towhelots of
different species feeding in multiple ways. Pine siskins eat seeds both at
the hanging feeder and ground feeding. The scrub and Stellars blue jays
use the hanging seed feeder, ground and paddle style suet feeder. The
spotted towhees eat from the hanging seed feeder as well as their typical
ground feeding/scratching. They all seem to learn from each other. It's
pretty smart actually.
