EBird seems to be mostly functional, but I have not received rare bird alerts from from today's checklists. I know that there should be some, as I submitted one myself.

Taxonomic updates usually happen around August (and don't require taking the database offline), but other priorities delayed the 2020 update, and I don't recall when exactly it is expected to happen.
