Hi all -
The Inland Northwest Blue Jay invasion continues. I had an adult Blue Jay in my back yard here in Electric City, Grant County, WA at 8:30 AM today. The bird started out in the lilacs, dropped to the ground to flip leaves for a while, then worked its way away north, calling "jay jay" the whole time. It had pale gray cheeks and a black necklace, definitely not Steller's.
