Subject: [Tweeters] Pine Siskins (~180) on Foster Island

A swarm of pine siskins was feeding in the deciduous trees just north of the footbridge on Foster Island yesterday afternoon. They were in one tightly clustered flock; they would occasionally move among trees in the immediate area. My conservative estimate was about 180 birds. Parking for this area is near the intersection of Arboretum Drive and Foster Island Road in Seattle.
