Hi, Fellow Birders, Many of you visit Bridgeport State Park during the
winter to look for Saw Whet Owls. Well, there is at least one there now.

You might also have come over to look for Sharp-tailed Grouse at the two
well-known spots on Bridgeport Hill Rd. Most of the water birch at these
two places burned, so there probably won't be any grouse there this
winter.

Have a nice Thanksgiving. Instead of eating together a group of us are
going to walk in the State Park and look for that Saw Whet. Meredith
Spencer, Bridgeport
