Just got home from Lake Sammamish State Park. They have a lot of coots now. With the coots, and at times by itself is a diving duck I can not ID.

Coot size.
Outstanding feature is white band on the bill
Comes closest in appearance to a small female Redhead.
No photo. Why don't you go get one. Last seen close to the illy pads to the west of the main beach. Look for a duck you can't ID.
