Thank you, Jeff, for reporting the Magpie. We had no trouble finding it in
almost the same spot, at around 3:30. It was foraging in a grassy area near
a large flock of crows. Most of the crows seemed to tolerate the Magpie but
one chased it into a tree by the marina.
I'm confused about "still in reported area." I looked in my email, my spam,
and on ebird and couldn't find a previous report. I must have missed it. A
dog walker was unimpressed by the bird when we mentioned it to him. When
was it first reported?
thanks,
Lynn
