Subject: [Tweeters] Large Group of Turkey Vultures continues over Camano Island

At approximately 12:15 pm on 10/10/20 we had noted from our deck at least 6
Turkey Vultures making good use of thermals out front. Their path from our
view point began along the shoreline near Utsalady point and continued
southbound along N. Camano Drive. The parade of Turkey Vultures continued
in groups of 3 to 6 with small gaps of time in between. At 12:31pm the last
one followed in the same southbound direction. From the moment we took
notice, I would estimate at least 50+ though I suspect this is the same
group and likely the total is closer to Steve Pink's prior report of 71.

Regards,

Anthony G.

Subject: [Tweeters] Turkey Vultures over Camano Island

Hi,

The recent reports of Turkey Vultures reminded we saw a flock of at least 71
vultures drifting south on Tuesday, 10/6/2020 at 1.30 pm. We were at the
intersection of N Camano Drive and Brentwood Drive near Maple Grove Beach.
It took at least 15 minutes for the flock to pass over. The largest kettle
of vultures I have ever seen in Western WA. Impressive.

Cheers, Steve
