Yesterday a kettle of Turkey Vultures flew over and just west of Montlake
Fill around 10:30AM. The drifted north to south. I was so excited that I
forgot to count, but I now estimate there were 20 or so. At least a couple
other birders noticed them. There are photos of the individuals at
http://bigstupid.org/postings/2020-10-11-Seattle-TV/
but I didn't get a photo of the kettle (right term?) as a whole. It was
impressive, and I had never seen any in King County before.
Also, another birder reported a White-throated Sparrow over near the
entrance to the Yesler Swamp area, but I didn't see it.
FOF Pine Siskin for me in the Kern Restoration Area.
