Hi Tweeters,

After seeing a kettle of 35 Turkey Vultures fly over my Battle Ground,
Clark County house shortly after noon today, I drove to a nearby open area
and directed my eyes to the sky for three hours of very active
vulture/raptor migration watching:

Turkey Vulture: 484 (most I've ever seen in Clark County in one day)
Peregrine: 3
Bald Eagle: 5
Red-tailed Hawk: 11
Sharp-shinned Hawk: 2
Cooper's Hawk: 1
People who asked me if I was photographing horses (!): 1

Keep your eyes and ears skyward and watch out for descending horses.

Jim
