I went to Lake Sammamish SP this morning to look for the Black Throated Blue. There were two other birders there and we looked all over the area where it was reported for about an hour and a half with no luck. The birds in that area weren't moving around much. The same kinglets, juncos, and sparrows were there the whole time.
Some hope is that I did locate a large mixed flock just north of the parking lot near the bathroom building that had lots of black capped and chestnut backed chickadees, a few nuthatches, and a few Townsend's warblers, which sounds similar to the flock it was reported with yesterday.
