Tweets - Surf Scoter are common on Puget Sound right now, but they are unusual on inland fresh water lakes.

Just had four at the north end of Lake Sammamish, swimming off Sammamish Landing Park. These would be scope-able from Idylwood Park, and very distantly from the Marymoor Lake Platform.

Nearby was a Red-necked Grebe, and tucked along the east shore was a Common Loon.
