Subject: [Tweeters] Thomle Road Snow Geese + Three Sandhill Cranes at Leque Road

Late posting about yesterday (Saturday) afternoon. Huge number of Snow Geese at the end of Thomle Road south of Stanwood. We should have tried to do a count, but it was at least a thousand. Wonderful layers (dozen+) of groups descending on the fields - reminds me of my dad talking about ducks and geese in Wisconsin in the 50s. Later, at Eide/Leque, three Sandhill Cranes landed in the field to the west - just seen at a distance coming in for landing. I apologize for not posting this sooner. That was around 5pm.
